My name is Cameron Rafferty. I am 28 years old. I live In Melbourne, Australia.
Throughout my photography studies i was able to learn how to operate an SLR Camera. By using this type of camera over the period of my time university, i was able to learn and put into practice the basics of capturing different types of images such as wide & narrow apperatures along with experimenting with different shutter speeds for each photograph being taken.
After going through the captured images i was able to use the program Adobe Photoshop, to enhance each individual image.
From the beginning of my university course before i would start any assignment, i would research different types of images 'graphics' for inspiration for my websites with the assisstance of google fonts for what type of font would complete the theme of my websites. Furthermore i would use the program Adobe Illustrator too create all my 'vector' images too produce high quality images.
While studying multiple website design subjects, I have been able to learn and put into use multiple coding languages, consisting of HTML, CSS, Javascript & jQuery. Allowing me to create responsive websites that are focused on mobile first. Furthermore I am confident in using the popular web design bootstrap framework and Wordpress including A/B Testing & Google Analytics.
After completing my Digital Media Design degree, I believe that my skills and knowledge in both photography and image manipulation have increased dramatically through experimenting and practice. By experimenting with ‘shutter speeds’ and ‘apertures’ I have been able to capture a wide range of different types of photographs in both my university assessments & freelance work.

From the beginning of my web studies, I was amazed with the number of businesses that were either 'not mobile ready', or had poor quality 'mobile ready sites UI's' on their approach with their website infrastructure.
This crucial web development factor in this era is an absolute must in designing websites, due to the rising statistics of people who tend to 'shop, research, browse on the go'.
By researching different websites and their approach to being 'mobile ready' it proves
how mobile website browser market share statistics have increased in usage from consumers making the switch from just the 'PC' to a more broader approach in their internet browsing using mobile phones, tablets and computers.

During my graphic design & video editing units, I was introduced to the infamous animation program; Adobe After Effects. At the beginning of the units, we were taught the basic fundamentals of what the program offers, from basic video editing with colours and text editing. After a couple of weeks I had started to get a grip on the program and a couple of editing styles.
In my spare time, I am a fan of going sky-diving. I have been lucky enough to skydive here in Australia and in New Zealand. The adrenaline rush that goes through the body when you are 16,000ft, in the air with your feet hanging outside the plane, ready to jump out is the greatest experience possible and a must do at least one time.
Going to the Australian open on a yearly basis is one of my favorite hobbies. From playing tennis at a young age, I was always a fan of playing in teamwork sports. I enjoy playing mixed doubles tennis and I have a passion for following the social networks of players; Roger Federer and Daria Gavrilova.
